New Event Offerings at Magic Sky Ranch

Magic Sky Ranch is still here, and re-opening soon.  We are so excited about this that we have some more new offerings (thanks to membership for your suggestions!).   This is a quick summary of what is coming up.  Be sure to check out www.girlscoutsofcolorado.org for more information, details, and to register.

 Daisy Troop Day at Camp

Has your Daisy Troop expressed curiosity and excitement about camping and overnights? Are they (and you) excited and nervous cause you haven’t been?  Join us on Sat. Oct. 6 for Daisy Troop Day at Magic Sky Ranch.  9am – 3pm, lunch included.  Price per Daisy is $9, price per Troop Leader/SAC Ratio Adult is $7.  A chance to check out camp, what the sleeping areas are like, practice bed rolls and packing, and also a chance to take a day hike.  Registration opens on Tuesday Aug. 21, and closes on Friday Sept. 21.

 

Leader Learning Day at Camp

Are you a troop leader and want to take your troop camping at a GSCO property but are unsure what activities you can lead on your own while there?  Spend a day at MSR and learn about some of them!   Cost is $12/person, includes lunch.  9am-4pm.  Will include a hike, as well as other activities.

Two upcoming dates to choose from:

Sat. Sept. 8     Registration opens Thursday Aug. 16, and closes on Friday Aug. 31.

Sat. Oct. 13     Registration Opens Tuesday Aug. 21, and closes on Fri. Sept. 21.

 

Autumn – Relax, Play, and Learn Weekend at MSR

Calling any GSCO adults – volunteers and leaders!  Have you always wanted a chance to come to camp – for yourself?  Mark your calendar for Oct. 19-21 at Magic Sky Ranch.  There will be options for relaxing, playing, and even learning.  Cost is $75/person (lodging, food, archery and/or climb wall are options too!).

There will also be additional learning opportunities – orienteering, Level 1 Archery Certification (full day, $65/person, max of 12 people), and potentially more (watch this blog and Facebook for more details).
